For the Love of Food

Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY is working with local restaurants and food service businesses on a campaign called “For the Love of Food”.  The goal of this program is to collaborate with restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores to provide our guest families with a well balanced meal, one less thing for them to think about. 

This is a fairly young program, but we would very much like to give thanks to Ron & Dan Ross, owners of Twin Trees Too! in Solvay, and Jennifer Dow, manager of Olive Garden in Dewitt.  Both restaurants have been a supporter of this program since its inception in July, 2010.  Thank you for all you do for us!

With much assistance from a new volunteer, Caryn Galusha, our program is growing by leaps and bounds.  We give kudos to our newly added restaurants to the program: Julie’s Place, Ichiban, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, The Genesee Grande Hotel, PRIME Steak House, Mario & Salvo’s Pizza, and Pascale Restaurant.  It takes enthusiastic volunteers like Caryn to work with the community to get these programs off the ground – thank you to all!
