Volunteers are the Heart of the “House That Love Built”

Ronald McDonald House Charities^® of CNY volunteers are the heart of the house. They assist us in many areas on an ongoing basis and make a difference in the lives of our guest families.

Prepare Dinner and Dessert

We are in need of volunteers to prepare meals and/or desserts for our guest families.

Main Office Assistant

Duties include greeting visitors and guests, answering the phones, accepting donations, taking hospital referrals, guest check-ins and check-outs, and various other tasks as needed. (Evening shifts include some light housekeeping duties).

Touch of Home

Organize a group of your friends, family or neighbors, collect and deliver “Wish List” items to the House on a scheduled day once a month.

Special Events/Projects

Throughout the year, Ronald McDonald House Charities^® of CNY has special events and projects that require some extra helping hands.

* You must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must accompany you while at RMHC of CNY. Community and school groups of all ages are welcome to volunteer in small groups. Groups under age 18 must have adult chaperone at all times while in the House.
