Ninth Annual O’Brien & Gere vs. ARCADIS Hockey Game to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The ninth annual O’Brien & Gere vs. ARCADIS hockey game will take place Saturday, April 10 at 3 p.m. at the War Memorial Arena at Oncenter, 800 S. State St., Syracuse, N.Y. Each year, the game benefits a cause that is close to the families and communities of both companies. This year, the game will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York.
O’Brien & Gere and ARCADIS employees have a fundraising goal of $25,000, which will allow them to name a room in the new CNY Ronald McDonald House in honor of Joseph James Marotta, an ARCADIS employee’s son who recently passed away from complications of H1N1. Marotta was five years old.
Admission to the hockey game is free, along with a reception to be held at the War Memorial Arena following the game.
A silent auction to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY is taking place through April 12 at 4 p.m. The auction features vacation packages, gift baskets and much more. To participate in the silent auction, visit www.obg.com/auction.
