Bandz-A-Palooza event to benefit RMHC of CNY
Event organized by New Dimensions and Dazzle
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – A Silly Bandz buying and trading event called “Bandz-A-Palooza” will be held in Central New York on Saturday, July 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Silly Bandz are colorful, shaped silicone bracelets that are one of the hottest fads for children and teens in the country right now.
Bandz-A-Palooza will be held at New Dimensions, 332 Fayette Street, Manlius, N.Y. It is organized by New Dimensions, a wholesale distribution business, and Dazzle, a new retail store that is scheduled to open in Manlius, by the end of summer. A portion of the proceeds from vendor sales and each pack of Silly Bandz sold will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York to help the not-for-profit organization build a new, larger Ronald McDonald House in Syracuse.
Bandz-A-Palooza will feature more than 75 different styles of bands, including several hard-to-find Silly Bandz, Fun Bandz, Forever Collectibles (Disney, Pixar, MLB), Bama Bandz, Rubba Bandz and more. Many popular styles of Silly Bandz will be available including tie-dyed, glitter, glow-in-the-dark and UV sensitive bands. A trading zone will also be part of the event.
Bandz-A-Palooza will also include a parents’ lounge and family friendly entertainment including bounce houses provided by Partycuse, ice cream from Carvel, and a variety of activities, games and puppet shows.
Silly Bandz have recently been profiled in Time Magazine, on the Today show, Good Morning America, USA Today and by many other media outlets.
