Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York Celebrates “Christmas in July”
SYRACUSE N.Y. –Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York is celebrating “Christmas in July,” encouraging the community to donate items off of its wish list to support the families of seriously ill children staying at the House.
Wish list items include: coffee (regular only), sugar, juice boxes, cereal, fruit roll-ups, peanut butter, popcorn, vegetable oil, pasta, pasta sauce, Soft Scrub, Lysol spray, paper towels, large trash bags, laundry and dish detergent, and white copy paper (8½” x 11”).
The CNY Ronald McDonald House wish list also includes gift cards to Wegmans, Wal-Mart, Price Chopper and Target, to help purchase items of immediate need.
Donations for the “Christmas in July” event can be dropped off at the CNY Ronald McDonald House at 1027 East Genesee St., Syracuse on Wednesday, July 29 (12 to 7 p.m.); Thursday, July 30 (12 to 7 p.m.); Friday, July 31 (12 to 7 p.m.); and Saturday, August 1 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
