Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York appoints new Executive Committee Officers to its board of directors

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York has appointed new Executive Committee Officers to its board of directors for 2012.

Chris Geiger was appointed president of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY board of directors. Geiger most recently held the position of 1st vice president. During his tenure on the board, he has served on the Executive Committee, as the Committee Chair for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY Invitational, as the Chair of the Nominating Committee and as a member of the Capital Campaign Committee. Geiger is president and CEO of CNY Central, including WSTM-NBC3, WTVH-CBS 5, WSTQ-CW6 and CNYcentral.com.  

Other newly appointed Executive Committee Officers include: 1st vice president, Leola Rodgers, associate administrator, Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital; 2nd vice president, Aaron D. Hugo, executive vice president, Pinckney Hugo Group; treasurer, Patrick Leitgeb, partner, KPMG LLP; immediate past president, Maureen Dunn McGlynn, partner, Mackenzie Hughes LLP; and secretary, Kathleen Kotz, owner, Kathy Kotz Home Builder Inc.

Additional board members include: Jean Czarniak, vocational rehabilitation counselor, NYS Education Dept./VESID; Mark A. Fuller, chief financial officer, United Radio Inc.; Steven Gross, MD, director, newborn medicine, Crouse Hospital, neonatal director, Central New York Regional Perinatal Program; Justin Hummel, chief executive officer, Hummel’s Office Plus; Douglas K.
