Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York
Syracuse, N.Y. – Testone, Marshall & Discenza LLP, a certified public accounting firm in Syracuse, N.Y., recently donated more than $1,500 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York.
At the end of each year, the firm makes a donation to a local charity, based on money raised during the year. In 2009, Testone, Marshall & Discenza selected Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY as its charity of choice. The firm raised the money through dress-down days and donations to the snack goods drawer.
An employee at Testone, Marshall & Discenza submitted Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY as one of the possible charities to receive the donation because her mother had stayed at a Ronald McDonald House in Buffalo, N.Y., when the employee was hospitalized as a child.
The firm’s donation is the equivalent to providing funding for 101 guest-night stays at the CNY Ronald McDonald House.
