Our grants program began with a global RMHC initiative in 1997. Since that time we have supported programs meeting the needs of children in CNY and Northern PA. These grants have supported programs in therapeutic recreation, handicap accessible playgrounds and equipment, adaptive technologies for children with developmental disabilities, the arts, leadership and mentoring, and alcohol prevention. A grants committee comprised of community leaders awards grants twice each year upon recommendation and review.
Effective January 2010 we will be temporarily suspending our grant program for the duration of our capital campaign to build a new Central New York Ronald McDonald House.
